Affirmations

whiteTo attain such a level of gratitude that it infuses every moment of our lives is a goal worth aiming for. We can retrain the mind so that being thankful is always at the forefront of how we think about the world. As the mind changes, the heart will follow.

Affirmations can be very effective in re-programing the sub-conscious mind to allow feelings of gratitude to arise. It is quite simple. You just say these words - out loud, or in a whisper, or in your mind.

  1. I am grateful for everything I am, do and have.

  2. I no longer take anything for granted.

  3. I am grateful for everything that comes my way.

  4. I now let go of the habit of making comparisons.

  5. I am grateful for the opportunities presented to me by obstacles, and I am galvanized to leap over them.

  6. Never again will I entertain those thoughts and feelings of being entitled to something.

  7.  I am grateful for opportunities to help others accomplish what they truly aspire towards.

  8. I now realize how important it is to appreciate each day that I am alive.

  9. I am grateful for my many blessings.

  10. Today I can reflect on how much easier my life is because of the efforts of others.

  11. I am thankful for the amount of self-worth that I already feel.

  12. More and more I am seeing life as a gift, instead of a burden.

  13. I am grateful for the knowledge that everything in existence began as a thought.

  14. I am increasingly thankful for the parenting that was provided to me.

  15. Every day I am more and more grateful for my present level of physical and emotional wellbeing.

  16. I would not have gotten to where I am today without the help of many people.

  17. I am grateful for what is, as it is.

  18. More and more I can find reasons to be thankful for bad things that happen.

  19. I am grateful for this grand, mysterious and masterful Design.

  20. Today I’ll be struck by the beauty of something, so much so that I’ll feel grateful in return.

If one of the affirmations feels really powerful, you could try saying it all day long, whenever you can remember to do so. As we think, so we become. A thankful mind opens the doors to a sense of wonder, gratitude, and appreciation for all life.
